The SRB publishes today its 2024 Annual Work Programme, setting out its objectives and priorities for the year ahead.
The 2024 work programme will be completed early next year with a multi-annual work programme for the SRB, based on the 2023 strategic review of SRB and Single Resolution Mechanism operations, which will be launched early next year.
Speaking in Brussels at the launch of the 2024 work programme, SRB Chair Dominique Laboureix said: “The year 2024 will see the SRB begin a series of strategic changes to be carried out between now and 2028. These changes will take time to implement but they are necessary as part of the evolution of the SRB, as we move towards better testing and operationalisation of our bank resolution plans.”
Dominique Laboureix will present the work programme to the European Parliament on 4 December, in a session with the ECON Committee.
