- The consultation gathers views from industry and other stakeholders to inform the adoption of the minimum bail-in data template.
- The consultation is open from 13 March 2024 to 8 May 2024.
The Single Resolution Board launched today a public consultation on the minimum bail-in data template (MBDT). The template collects bail-in data in the event of a bank failure or for dry-runs and testing exercises, while being flexible enough to accommodate aspects related to national law.
The package provides an integrated approach for implementing the SRB Bail-in Data Set Instructions and Explanatory Note published in 2020 and updated in 2022, by enhancing definitions and providing a template to ensure structured and standardised data collection across banks under the SRB’s remit.
The consultation focuses on the following topics:
- Content of the MBDT documentation;
- Data point model and format;
- Data collection process.
Responses can be sent to the SRB through the consultation page.
