The Single Resolution Board (SRB) has published a public call for expressions of interest in the appointment of one Alternate member to the SRB’s Appeal Panel.
The Appeal Panel is an independent body established under the Single Resolution Mechanism Regulation (SRMR) to decide on appeals lodged against certain decisions of the SRB. It plays an essential role in ensuring the fairness, transparency and accountability of the SRB’s decision-making processes.
The Alternate member will be appointed for a term of five years, with the possibility of one renewal. Alternates are called upon to replace Appeal Panel members in cases of unavailability or potential conflicts of interest and may also be appointed as full members if a vacancy arises.
Candidates must have a proven record of relevant knowledge and professional experience in the fields of banking or other financial services, including resolution experience, as well as a strong understanding of EU legislation and procedures. A very good command of English is essential.
Applications must be submitted by 1 March 2026.
For full details on eligibility criteria, selection requirements and the application procedure, please consult the public call for expressions of interest available on the SRB website and in the OJ.
