  • SRB publishes Operational Guidance for banks on Business Reorganisation Plan Analysis Reports and quantitative template in response to an industry request
  • The guidance follows the public consultation from 3 February to 30 March 2026
  • There are no new requirements

The Single Resolution Board (SRB) today publishes its Operational Guidance for banks on Business Reorganisation Plan Analysis Reports alongside a complementary quantitative template. The documents provide banks with a consolidated, transparent framework to strengthen their crisis preparedness and resolvability, without introducing new requirements.

Key highlights:

  • Response to an industry request for a publicly available, standardised reference to harmonise expectations and enhance consistency in reorganisation planning

  • A single, coherent framework compiling and clarifying already existing expectations

  • Practical support for banks provided through the non-mandatory quantitative template.

“The new guidance aligns with the SRB’s broader efforts to strengthen banks’ resolvability self-assessment and resolvability testing, fostering a robust and standardised approach to crisis preparedness across the banking sector,” said SRB Chair Dominique Laboureix.

The feedback statement to the public consultation is attached here.
