Claire McGrade is the Head of the Resolution and Crisis Management Division in the Central Bank of Ireland, where she is responsible for resolution planning, resolution policy and implementation, the management of resolution funds and also financial crisis preparedness and management. She joined the Central Bank in 2016, into the Enforcement and Anti Money Laundering Directorate, where she held the posts of Head of Function, Consumer Investigations and also Head of Function, Prudential Investigations. Prior to joining the Central Bank, Claire was a Partner in Arthur Cox LLP.

Claire completed her undergraduate Law Degree in Trinity College, Dublin, and Universiteit Leiden, The Netherlands.  She completed her post graduate studies in University College, Dublin.
