Ugo Malvagna is Assistant Professor (tenure track) of Banking and Financial Markets Law at the Law School of the University of Trento, where he also teaches Private Law and Law & Economics. He is a corresponding member of the Italian Society of Professors of Law and Economics (Associazione Docenti di Diritto dell’Economia - ADDE) and of the Italian Society of Civil Law Scholars (Società italiana degli Studiosi di Diritto Civile), where he seats in the Financial Law commission. He is a fellow of the European Law Institute.
By appointment of the Italian Minister of Economy and Finance, he is a Member of the Technical Commission of the Italian Savers’ Indemnification Fund (Fondo Indennizzo Risparmiatori).
He is an investigator in the Research Project of National Relevance promoted by the Italian Ministry of University and Research (PRIN 2017) on FinTech.
His expertise focuses on Banking Law and Financial Regulation, Structured Finance, Insolvency Law and Corporate Law.
