Rastko Vrbaski is a Senior Advisor at the BIS Financial Stability Institute, where he works on the FSI policy, outreach and training programmes. Prior to joining the FSI, Rastko was a senior manager in the resolution directorate at the Swiss financial market supervisory and resolution authority (FINMA), having previously worked in bank supervision and as an attorney in private law firms. Rastko is a German-qualified lawyer and holds a doctoral degree in law from the University of Tuebingen, Germany (2005).
