
Pamela Lintner is a Senior Financial Sector Specialist in the Finance, Competitiveness, and Innovation Global Practice at the World Bank Group for the Eastern Europe and Central Asia region (ECA).
Based at the Financial Sector Advisory Center (FinSAC) in Vienna, she advises authorities of client countries on crisis management and bank resolution, advancing alignment with the EU’s BRRD and DGSD and supporting regulatory, institutional, and operational reforms. Her work includes the design and delivery of crisis simulation exercises and contributions to joint World Bank–IMF Financial Sector Assessment Programs (FSAPs).
Prior to the World Bank, Pamela held positions at the Austrian central bank (OeNB), the Austrian Bankers’ Association, and Austria’s Federal Ministry of Finance, working closely on the EU financial regulatory agenda. She holds a doctorate in law, with studies at the Universities of Linz, Vienna, and Madrid, and at the European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA, Maastricht).
