How did your time at SRB challenge you to grow professionally or personally in ways you didn’t expect?

At the SRB, you get challenged from the very beginning. I felt useful from the first day I stepped into the office. My colleagues made a real effort to teach me and give me responsibilities, which helped me grow not only technically but also personally. I was also involved in different tasks across several areas of Banking Resolution, which gave me a broad view of what resolution means for the Banking Union and how our work helps Europeans.

What advice would you give to someone considering the Blue Book traineeship?

If you get this opportunity, you will work with highly qualified professionals and learn a lot from them. You will also feel fulfilled knowing that your work contributes to citizens and strengthens the European project. Be open and talk to people — colleagues are genuinely willing to help and support you along the way.
