Matthew Baron is an Associate Professor of Finance at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business. He also serves as the Associate Director of Research at the Psaros Center for Financial Markets and Policy. Professor Baron's research focuses on financial history and the economics of banking crises. He holds a PhD in economics from Princeton University and a BS in mathematics from Yale University.
