• The Single Resolution Board is pleased to invite media representatives to its SRM Media Day in Brussels at The Egg venue on Monday, 12 February 2024, from 14.00 to 17.30 CET ahead of the SRB Annual Conference 2024 “The road ahead: risk, readiness and resilience” taking place the next day on Tuesday, 13 February 2024. 
• The event is aimed at Media representatives from across the Banking Union who cover finance. 
• Brussels-based correspondents, who may be more familiar with the work of the SRB, are encouraged to attend from 16:30  onwards for an on-the-record press point with SRB Chair, Dominique Laboureix. This will be followed by a networking cocktail for all media reps.

This is the opportunity to participate in a specialised training session; you will receive some under-embargo speeches scheduled for presentation at the conference the following day. We look forward to your participation and ensuring that you have all the necessary information to cover the SRB Annual Conference 2024.

The agenda for the training session covers a range of topics, including an introduction to the Single Resolution Mechanism (SRM), a focused discussion on prevention efforts and activities during peacetime, insights into the proposed reforms under the CMDI framework, an overview of the resolution framework, the Single Resolution Fund (SRF) and the regulator's perspective on crisis cases. The session will also include a Q&A answer session.

The SRM Media Day concludes with an on-the-record press point with SRB Chair, Dominique Laboureix, to gather insights and quotes for your reporting.
