Niamh Moloney is Professor of Financial Markets Law in the Law School at the London School of Economics and Political Science and was previously Dean of the Law School. Niamh is a non-executive director of the Central Bank of Ireland board, a member of the Board of Appeal of the European Supervisory Authorities, and served as Chair of the Irish Government’s Commission on Taxation and Welfare. Niamh specializes in EU financial markets regulation and has written a number of books in this field, including EU Securities and Financial Markets Regulation (the 4th edition of which was published in 2023). Niamh is a Fellow of the British Academy, an Honorary Member of the Royal Irish Academy, and holds an honorary doctorate from the University of Zurich.
